The Zune HD has just been equipped with a new application now available from its Zune Marketplace, a Twitter app! For those of you who are Zune HD owners, you will know that your device is fab and certainly wins the race if you’re competing against the likes of iPod Touch or iPhone for the longest battery life. But the problem is, the Zune Marketplace really lacks any attractive apps, or any at all…
The launch of Zune HD is just around the corner but not yet close enough, it looks like though someone’s got their hands on one already.
According to CrazyphoneGuy of Twitter and his prodigious Twitpic account, the picture above is of the Zune HD’s new box. It looks quite a bit like existing Zune boxes, but that’s certainly no slight.
The new Zune HD’s most attractive feature to me is probably the video output via its dock which basically allows you to see everything you’ve got in your Zune on TV. The TV interface as you will see in the video below runs smoothly, allowing you to do everthing as you normally would such as accessing music, video, pictures, even radio and podcasts…
The new Zune HD from Microsoft finally gets pictured. CNET’s senior editor Donald Bell explains to you what he liked and disliked after checking out the real thing for the first time. If you’ve been a faithful Zune fan/user all along, then you will want to check out the quick gallery below.
My own personal highlight from the photos below is that the new Zune HD actually looks very solid, and dare I say its not bad looking at all…
The latest rumor to develop over the upcoming Zune HD reincarnation is about the 16GB version of the new Microsoft portable media player. Its been said that an engineer from Microsoft has leaked pricing info that the 16GB Zune HD will cost in the range of $250 and $280.

Cool animations, fast accelerometer, sharp high def images are just some of the comments given to the newly re-incarnated Zune HD so far. The most obvious competitors of Microsoft’s latest reincarnation are the iPod Touch and Sony’s recently launched X-Series. Check out the video below and let us know what you think!
