ASUS unveils new Eee Box desktop computer B203

Asus has recently introduced it’s latest version of the Eee Box desktop PC called the B203. As you will be able to imagine, the Eee Box B203 is a low powered desktop computer just like the rest in its sereis and not a super computer that emits tons of CO2. Running only on Intel C220 Celeron processor, it is light on carbon footprint but also in terms of weight, weighing in at just 2.2 lbs!

The machine runs Windows XP Home, and has the option of an 80GB, 120GB, or 160GB hard drive. There’s 4 USB ports, a flash card reader, Ethernet, Wifi and a DVI port.

The entire desktop is small – it weighs a mere 2.2 pounds. It’s design is nearly identical to the previous versions, and is wite, with circular designs on the side, and the now-popular Eee branding.

We often feature some basic help for readers who have just started using their new Macs and can’t find their way around a completely new but simplier OS environment. This latest gadget from Belkin will in our opinion definitely make Macs even more attractive compared to Windows PCs because the Switch-to-Mac cable makes your file transferring process from Windows to Mac OS X as simple as… well just sitting there without doing anything, because it automatically does it all for you!

Belkin’s Switch-to-Mac cable helps you transfer not just files from your PC but also your original settings and preferences. Unlike existing products where you have to drag and drop specific files you want to transfer. The Switch-to-Mac cable has its own Migration Assistant which is compatible with Windows XP and Vista, it automatically moves your music, photos, files (and more!) and internet preferences the way you want it, this makes your transition from Windows PC to Mac OS X as trouble free as possible (not that anything ever goes wrong on Macs…).

The Switch-to-Mac cable is expected to be out soon at an affordable price of $50 USD.
