Not quite yet ready for Mac but for PC users, you can now download Amazon’s Kindle PC software free of charge. Though the software is free, you will of course still need to pay in order to read Amazon Kindle books on your PC.
Check it out, the Lenovo IdeaCentre Q110 Nettop is finally available for purchase at Lenovo’s online store. Lenovo are well known for shaping things up with a nice, smooth, glossy touch, there’s no exception for their new mini PC here. For mini PC fans who care for the outside just as much as the inside, I would say the Q110 certainly has its charms over the likes of Acer’s Aspire Revo per say.
Priced at $399, the Q110 is an ION-based nettop which offers a decent combination of hardware specs including Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz CPU, a 2GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows Vista Home Premium 64 OS. Acer has recently introduced their latest Predator gaming computer, the Aspire G.
More precisely known as the ASG7710-A41, its specs will be most appreciated by those who needed it, gamers! Offering a Core i7-950 @ 3.06GHz CPU, 6GB of DDR3 RAM (up to 12GB), an Intel X58 Express Chipset, 1TB of SATA HDD @ 7200rpm, two Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 (1GB of VRAM), a Blu-ray disc drive, as well as 11 USB 2.0 ports, 2 eSATA ports, a multi-card reader, 4 DVI-D ports and finally a two Gigabit Ethernet. The Aspire G will run on Windows Vista Home Premium (64bit), and also comes with the G15 keyboard and the G9 Laser mouse.
Since Acer acquired Gateway and Packard Bell along with it, Packard Bell’s PC lineup has been relaunched with a touch of Acer inspiration. Not surprisingly so has Packard Bell’s high end ixtreme computer package.
The new ixtreme, high performance PC will have processor choices of – AMD Phenom X4 II, Core 2 Quad or Core i7 all on offer. Memory wise, up to 12GB of RAM and 3TB of storage and Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 for up to 1GB of graphics memory.
