AdvanceTC has revealed a unique device which is called MAGIC W3. It looks like a smartphone and also like a small tablet. However, the hardware platform and operating system chosen does not have anything in common with any of these product categories. According to AdvanceTC, MAGIC W3 is actually a packable small “microcomputer”.
The latest one of four Asus Eee Windows tabs to be launched is the Slate EP121 which boasts a 12.1″ 1280 x 800 pixel capacitive touchscreen display with an eletromagnetic panel and stylus for precise input. Powered by either 2GB or 4GB of DDR3 memory, underneath is a dual core Intel i5 CPU.
Though available in 32GB or 64GB solid state disk versions, the latter is already out of stock on Amazon. Other features of the Eee Slate includes Windows 7 Home Premium, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 2MP webcam, 2 USB ports, a microphone and headphone combo jack, a mini HDMI port, and a flash card reader. Well, this is what we call the perfect plan to cover every corner of the present Internet tablet market. Toshiba is planning to launch 3 different Internet tablets that will come loaded with Windows 7, Chrome OS and Android respectively. If things go as planned then all the three Internet tablets will be launched at the next CES which happens to be the perfect plan for marketing such a launch.

Though it has been quiet some time when Windows 7 for phones was actually launched but ASUS still seems to be interested in launching a smartphone which will come loaded with WP7. We are not sure why ASUS did not tap into the newly popped in Windows Phone 7 market but they surely are ready to do the same now with their E600 available seen at FCC.

We spoke of the two new Acer Android tablets earlier this week. However, when Acer showed off their upcoming tablets in the recent Acer conference, we heard no news that the brand would have 10.1-inch versions of their Acer tablet running on Windows 7. What’s more, these are speculated to be powered by AMD’s dual-core C-50 Ontario accelerated processing unit.
