Unfortunately, we didn’t do this review, but with a sparkling 3.2-inch AMOLED, five megapixel camera with flash, running on a 600 MHz CPU and Android 2.1 and of course all possible connectivities you can imagine, the HTC Legend has the potential to be an outstanding smartphone.
It sports a touchscreen rather than a full QWERTY and has pretty much the characteristics of its predecessor, the HTC Hero. However, compared to the Hero, almost every feature and hardware specification has received an upgrade, supposedly making it much less buggy than first generation HTC Android phones. Its finally official, Apple has told in a press release the official launch date of the iPad. It will be available from April 3rd, while for those of you in the US, the queue for pre-ordering the non-3G version of the new device will open from next friday. Its also been said that the 3G version will be coming in late April along with iPads for users in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. For those in the UK, all it says is that the iPad will be coming late April, no exact date is yet available.
While the Sony Ericsson Satio may not be the phonemaker’s latest smartphone, a few months back when it first launched here in the UK, there were a few problems with the handset which led it to having been withdrawal from the shelves! However, Sony Ericsson didn’t leave this for long. The Satio has been a popular choice of cameraphone since the error got patched up. Its most attractive feature is probably its 12.1 megapixel camera and unique new UI. We’ve been lucky to be sent one for a review and here are some of our pics so far.
Sony Ericsson has released their new business style smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Aspen. Its the first to be running on the new Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Looking very similar to Nokia’s E series smartphones, the 3G-equipped Aspen comes with a 2.4 inch QVGA TFT touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with 4 x digital zoom, built in WiFi, A-GPS and blueooth.
CES 2010 was a great festival that covered tons of new releases by numerous companies. Wireless devices have always been a center of attraction. At the festival, RCA showcased the world’s very first realistic Wireless Charger. RCA’s Airnergy is here to answer all questions pertaining to wireless charging technology.
The device features neo-technological circuitry that converts WiFi energy into electricity using air as the medium! The Airnergy utilizes a mini-USB port for connecting to other devices. During a test at the CES, Airnergy successfully charged a Blackberry from 30% to full in about 90 minutes harnessing the power from WiFi signals.

The news of an actual dedicated hardware based Boxee device was annouced just last month, however at the time Boxee did not spill any news on who will be its hardware partner. The Boxee Box now its officially called is shaped more like a half-submerged cube, boasts HDMI, SD card slot, two USB 2.0 ports, WiFi, and ethernet for internet connectivity.
The Box will allow streaming of online content and storage of digital media to an HDTV. The device allows users to share playlists with friends on various social networking sites, including Twitter and Facebook. The Boxee Box also facilitates educational purposes such as university courses, panel discussions, academic lectures, presentations and web-only videos. Continue reading »
