Review: LG Viewty Smart GC900 Part 1
After having recently featured to everyone our unboxing gallery and gallery comparing the LG Viewty Smart to the LG Arena. We’ve now been able to test it out thoroughly for a few weeks. In this first part of our review, we’ll comment on what we thought of the new generation Viewty’s completely revamped, elegant design.
The first Android phone with flash support has been unveiled. A true iPhone killer this time? Known as the HTC Hero, it is a phone which has been speculated with images leaked previously, now officially revealed and pictured below.
The new open source Android based HTC Hero sports a 3.2-inch HVGA (480×320) screen, a five megapixel camera with autofocus, AGPS, digital compass, gravity sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated search button. On the inside lies 512MB of storage, expandable by microSD, 288MB of RAM, and a 528MHz Qualcomm processor.

The new Android 1.5 Cupcake update will be available to all Android users as from today, it packs a bunch of new cool features for all Android phones and one of which will be these awesome new widgets.
Sony launches new BRAVIA Z5500 with eco-aware features
Sony have unveiled the BRAVIA Z5500, the newest member of the Motionflow 200Hz family. Like the BRAVIA WE5, the Z5500 also has a number of eco-aware features as well as an ethernet port for adding applicast RSS feeds and downloading widgets. The Z5500 also includes the energy saving switch that was unveiled with the WE5 model, check out the full press release after the jump.
Summary of iPhone / iPod Touch OS 3.0 and latest SDK features
Kevin Rose’s predictions may have been right for one of the new features but I bet he didn’t know so many were also going to be up for grabs on this new 3.0 OS update. If you didn’t have the time to find out about all the new features and functionality that was coming to the new iPhone OS version 3.0 yesterday. In my view this long awaited update contains everything that Apple needed to put the iPhone back on top of all the rivalry thats been going on with other mobiles such as RIM’s Storm or the Palm Pre. There is no question that Apple is brilliant at supporting both new and existing customers, the update will be completely free to all iPhone users while there will be a tiny cost for iPod Touch users, but no doubt it will be worth it!
