Not the latest news but these are very neat gadgets:

Takara Tomy, Japan, released its ‘Transformers Music Label Series in the Japan market, which consists of a ‘Soundwave’ mp3 player which supports memory cards with a SD slot and earphone ‘Frenzy & Rumble’. The mp3 player it self runs on a single AA battery which can last for about 6 hours.
Based on the video I found from YouTube (after the jump), these were available in very limited quantities and were quickly sold (within hours!). However, i have managed to find a site that claims to sell them in a set of two for $169.95 available in mint box: http://www.tfsource.com/Reissues/mp-3%20Player%20Soundwave/mp-3-soundwave.html.
The fact is there are not many 5-megapixel camera phones available to the UK at the moment, when you try to think of one, you would probably come up with the latest Nokia N95 or even maybe Sony Ericsson’s soon to arrive K850i. But right now, there is nothing as thin and slick as the Samsung G600?
Have a look at this video:

LG Trax (CU575) – A great affortable music phone
LG Trax, officially launched by AT&T, is the upcoming hottest 3G music phone. It first appeared on the 19th July, at LG’s holiday showcase at Christie’s Auction House in Manhattan. It has all the latest capabilites including picture messaging, video sharing as well as listening to your music via stereo on bluetooth headsets.

It’s been confirmed that Sony will be launching a new revised version of PSP worldwide in September. Though the screen size is the same and it still uses UMD, this new edition is expected to be lighter and 19% slimmer. The battery will also be more efficient, this will certainly improve game loading time. MaxConsole suggests that the biggest new feature is probably the new portable’s ability to produce high quality video output. However many users would actually prefer a second analog stick!

Like the Samsung F200, the F210 is another music phone that was announced during the Communic Asia 2007 tradeshow. The F210 also uses the narrow rotating slider design which had been a great success with the Samsung x830 / x830. However the F210 comes in a greater variety of shiny colours, such as purple, silver, pink.
With its light weight and many attractive colours, the F210 will certainly soon become a popular choice for users who wish to seek convenient music play and simple calling.

Here are some additional specifications:
- GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900MHz
- 87.7 x 30.9 x 20.4 mm
- 1.46″ 260k TFT LCD display
- 2 MP camera
- 1 GB internal memory
- MicroSD (Transflas) slot
- Bluetooth 2.0
- USB 2.0
Update (10/10/2007):
Here’s a video preview of the F210, I found uploaded onto Youtube recently:
