Our very highest regards go to Wes Pitter who is the creator and designer of this amazing Lego masterpiece. The Lego made yellow Camaro you see below took Wes two years of his spare time to assemble, this wasn’t because he had difficulty putting together the car but as you will probably appreciate, its not easy to put together bricks that can transform and take shape of a completely different from, without having to dissemble it.

Robonova robot: Cooler than Transformers 2?

Lynxmotion’s latest robotic gadget known as Robonova may be considered as even cooler than some of the Transformers 2 movie Prime toys which have been released (depending on which side you’re on!). One thing there is no doubt about is that the Robonova is capable of some of the coolest moves we’ve seen from a robot. In fact, the Robonova may be at the starting point in which humanoid robots can start performing acts / moves that not all humans can do themselves!

RoboSteel which is a unique company based in Ireland, has brought to this year’s Gadget Show Live one of their latest steel sculptures, a 2.5 meters tall Optimus Prime. RoboSteel’s sculptures are all hand welded and not casted, as anyone will be able to appreciate, these sculptures are finished to an excellent level of craftsmanship.

According to their website, larger sculptures can contain thousands of individual parts, and all materials used in construction are recycled from cars, motorbikes and airplanes. The materials used are virtually 100% steel. Occasionally small amounts of copper and ceramic material are used to create the desired effect. The applied lacquer is acrylic based. All material used are Non toxic.
