Its finally official, the LG GD900 Crystal was announced by LG yesterday here in the UK. For those of you who have been emailing in, the release will be on the 1st of July, only at the Carphone Warehouse.
We are obviously very excited about this, most of you interested will probably have seen the video of the GD900′s Crystal Touchpad in action. Its the first of its kind and no doubt making the Crystal one of the most elegant LG phones ever.
Just to recap, the LG GD900 will come with LG’s latest S-Class user interface as well as excellent specs including eight megapixel camera, 3″ full touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth as well as support for up to 32GB of external memory making the GD900 another excellent all round multimedia camerphone.
The latest Nokia flagship phone Nokia N97 is now up for pre-order via the Nokia Online Store. The N97 has had plenty of coverage recently and rightly so its because it will be the first Nokia phone to come preloaded with Ovi Store, the Finnish phone company’s answer to the iPhone App Store?
The Ovi Store which is set to be stocked with tons of programs, services and apps to make every other smartphone platforms (including Android and iPhone OS?) jealous. With regards to its pre-order, its currently only available through Nokia, both white and black versions are available at £499.

Only have a short while since we last posted the LG Viewty Smart GC900‘s video, LG have now announced its availability in the UK.
Just to recap for those who may not have heard about the Viewty Smart. It can be considered as the second generation of the original highly successful LG Viewty, five megapixel camera phone. Like the Viewty, Viewty Smart focuses heavily on mobile photography, boasting a three inch WVGA display and equipped with an eight megapixel camera with LED flash. Here’s a quick gallery showing you some pictures that were taken using the Nokia N97′s five megapixel camera. Now already available for pre-order via Nokia in the states for $524, the Nokia N97 is the second phone to feature a full touchscreen running on a Symbian S60 operating system. In addition to its five megapixel camera, other features include a 3.5-inch 640×360 pixels display, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3.5mm jack.
One of the obvious rivals of the Nokia N97 is probably the LG Arena also with similar specs and a five megapixel camera which we recently reviewed, you can check out the photos we took using its camera here.
We’re abit skeptical about this, but considering how long the Nokia 5800 has been out for, it may be about time for Nokia to freshen things up with a new XpressMusic phone.
Believed to include a larger, 3.5-inch touchscreen, 3.5mm headphone jack and 5-megapixel camera, the 5900 XpressMusic is expected to run the same Symbian S60 5th Edition OS as its predecessor. We’ve covered the ASUS Eee PC T91 extensively in the past months since it was first showcased at the CES. Its now been revealed that the convertible netbook will be arriving us in the UK in late May or early June, with a MRSP of £449 ($675). For those who have been interested in the T91Go which is an upgraded version if you like, equipped with HSDPA, you will need to wait abit longer before this model will be available. Final specs of the T91 are yet to be confirmed, however, based on previous featured posts, we know approximately what to expect.
