The race through London challenge was shown on last Sunday’s Top Gear, where Richard, James, Jeremy and also the Stig each set off by selecting a method of transportation in order to reach the airport (which was situated on the other side of London) as quickly as possible…

This is absolutely one of the most ironic claims in tv commercial advertising and especially on an Audi commercial. If you’re in the UK, you may have already seen this ad on tele before, it started showing about two to three weeks ago but we love it so much we wanted to post it here as well for everyone’s enjoyment!
The R8 is, of course, anything but slow! It is the fastest production car Audi has ever produced, however each one is constructed largely by hand, it actually has the by far the slowest build process of all Audi models. With such a special manufacturing process (much like making a cricket bat of some sort!), only a limited quantity of 450 will be delivered to the UK this year and 750 in 2008, with prices starting at ?77,000!

Yes I know the Audi R8 has already been seen on the busy streets of NY City and its caused some trouble there too! The Audi R8 is probably one of the most looked-forward-to-see fast cars soon to hit the UK, ok so maybe not alot of people will be able to afford one but imagine seeing someone drive an R8 and acrossing the street outside your house, woh! That’s why I can’t NOT show you this recent video clip by Top Gear which reviews the Audi R8!
