If you access Google Labs you can now find the first version of Swiffy. For those of you who don’t know what Swiffy is – it’s a new tool from Google which can transform swf files into HTML5. It’s very easy to use, all you have to do is to upload your swf files and this tool will do the rest, after which you can take the HTML code that it generates and insert it into your pages. Sikuli is a new app that makes automating as simple as taking screenshots, if you watch the video below, you’ll truly know how oldschool macros now are. Instead of programming actions, all you have to do is put screenshots of the particular UI items that you want to automate in a list and then the app will use visual cues to do whatever you want it to do. Not only does it make things much easier when actually writing scripts, but it also gives you countless options in terms of automation.
