The iPhone Dev Team have released their latest updated version of PwnageTool, 3.1.3. This new jailbreak tool extends its reach to the third generation iPhone 3GS as well as second generation iPod Touch. For those who would like full confirmation, the new PwnageTool 3.1.3 now supports iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and first and second gen iPod Touch.
If you’ve got a non-jailbroken iPhone 3GS running 3.1, now’s your chance to redeem it into a proper iPhone once more. The upgraded PwnageTool allows the 3GS (and the second gen iPod touch) to be jailbroken thus allowing users to gain access to third party apps on Cydia for example. How much do you fancy the design of the latest third generation iPod Shuffle? My opinion is the design is great on the outside (and inside) but the controls are annoying and I wouldn’t fancy using Apple’s earphones for the whole lifetime of the Shuffle. Yes, there are alternative accessories to bypass this but that means paying more and why should we bother when Apple’s designers should really be giving us more choices?
A massive unboxing gallery of the iPod Shuffle thanks to Appleinsider…
The latest iPod Shuffle is tiny and an innovation, with virtually no controls at all on the music player itself. All music controls have been moved and integrated into Apple’s earphones, its not the simpliest to use if you think about it. So here’s a summary of the different clicks, and double clicks and center clicks, etc… you need to remember if you’re planning on getting the new third generation iPod Shuffle.
If you haven’t heard about the new third gen iPod Shuffle yet, watch the video below (its Apple’s promo video, but its not bad!)…
