While no official date is yet available for those in the States, it looks like the 9th of July will be the date in which the Snapdragon chipset powered Toshiba TG01 will soon be officially unveiled here in the UK. It’s slim, powerful and runs on 256MB of RAM, the TG01 was first revealed to the world at this year’s MWC.
With a 4.1-inch WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen display, the TG01 packs the quality specs of a potential iPhone killer; WiFi, GPS, 3.2-megapixel camera and 3G data connectivity all within its only 10mm-thick body.
Hey guys, just another video demoing the new UI on the Toshiba TG01, this video has an excellent clear quality so thought you guys might be interested in seeing it in action.
Sony Ericsson’s latest Idou was revealed this week at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona. Probably the most appealing feature is that the Idou boasts a 12.1-megapixel camera, of course, this means SE is now further leading the market with their Cybershot technology equipped phones. But to me I think that is the only thing that I like about the Idou and nothing else. The video embedded below features how the new user interface works on the full touch screen flagship, the picture browser works exactly like the iPhone’s, which kind of puts me off as there is nothing new or creative about it.
You may already have seen the gallery we put up last week of the TG01, Toshiba’s iPhone killer in which they were so excitied to unveil that they couldn’t wait til the Mobile World Congress. I know you may have already seen a previous hands on video but this one to follow after the jump shows more clearly how the device will work and of course all the fuzz about those strips! 🙂
Just days after Toshiba’s latest flagship touchscreen was revealed, we’re now beginning to see some hands on demo videos appear. Everything about the Toshiba TG01 seems great at the moment, of course this is what Toshiba wants, escpecially from us iPhone users. Except one thing though, it runs Windows Mobile…
Here’s a gallery of the hands on and official pictures of the TG01, thanks to Electricpig…

Looks like Toshiba also wants to be apart of the touchscreen phone gang. Completely out of the blue? Well, no. It appears Toshiba has been working on it and to reveal their latest TG01 ahead of the upcoming Mobile World Congress also seems like a plan so that everyone will have had it stuck in their heads and thinking about it even before seeing all the new tech other brands will have to offer at the world congress.
