Last month, the Blackberry Storm 3 was rumoured to feature the highest resolution display on a BlackBerry to-date, boasting a 3.7 inch 800 x 480 WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, and a five megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video. We have Apple’s iPad, Dell’s Streak, Blackberry’s PlayBook tablet, Toshiba’s Froyo 100. It’s big time that we add Hitachi into the list too. With plenty different versions of internet tablet already on the market, Hitachi had to come with something that attracts the consumers.

The 6.6-inch tablet by Hitachi has a resolution of over 1600 x 1200 across an IPS panel for an amazing 302 pixels per inch of the device. For those who still don’t understand the gravity of this specification, let me just clear your doubts and put things into perspective. These are super attractive displays for a tablet.
