Augmented reality has come a long way since we first talked about it two years ago. Though the technology itself remains largely in its experimental phase, its potential for future applications of use is tremendous. Recently, Sony has been working on abit of AR themselves and they call it SmartAR.
Sony Ericsson has been having a nice run of Android powered smartphones lately with price tags varing from high to low to suit the needs of potential customers. Announced officially here in the UK not many months ago is the classy and elegantly designed Gingerbread powered Xperia Arc and our friends at Geeky Gadgets recently got to test it out.
Sony has enough problems at the moment with PSN and SOE, but it seems that hackers are planning another attack on PSN, according to the rumors online.
PlayStation Network have resumed some PSN services as promised on Sunday, probably not the way we were expecting. It is confirmed that PSN is back up in Japan, hopefully the UK, the US and other regions will follow shortly. Sony announced that online gameplay for PlayStation 3 and PSP and access to account management features will go live this week. However, other features, such as the downloadable games shop, will not come back online until later this month.
