Soon you will be able to watch movies on your Sony Playstation 3. Well, though Sony had initially designed the Sony PlayStation for high end gaming but innovations are part of Sony and they love to experiment. Though people sitting and reading this in the US won’t understand what Lovefilms is but to explain it in short Lovefilm to UK is what Netflix is for America.
Just a quick heads up for those who have been waiting for the new 250GB version PlayStation 3 Slim to be available. Amazon UK has updated their site to display the 250GB PS3 Slim and let everyone know that they will be shipping from the first of October, which is next week!
Though the 120GB model PS3 Slim is already available for £245 with a choice of one free game plus an HDMI cable but for just £40 more, you’ll now be able to buy the console with twice the memory capacity though without a free game, we still think this is definitely a bargain worth considering. Looks like the prayers of many PlayStation fans have been answered. As some of you may have noticed, it has not been without a treacherous journey of leaked images, rumors and debates. The latest PlayStation or PS3 Slim game console will boast a 120GB hard drive. At a press conference ahead of the 2009 games convention – Games Com – in Cologne, Sony Entertainment has announced it is to reduce the price of its PlayStation 3 games consoles, this will apply to all consoles in stock effective immediately.
After the Microsoft announcement of its new technology controller-free control system called Project Natal, Sony has announced their rivalry gadget, the new Motion Controller for Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3). The Motion Controller for PS3 works in a similar way to Nintendo’s Wii controller.
There is a senor sits on top of the TV and detects the position, distance and movement of two controllers held in a user’s hand. The device can measure where the controllers are in relation to each other and how close they are to the sensor, aiming to create a true 3D movement within a game.
