Samsung first showed off their latest HMX-H106 full HD SSD camcorder back at the CES earlier this year, now its officially available worldwide. To refresh your memory, The HMX-H106 features 10x Optical Zoom with Schneider’s Varioplan-HD lens, full HD (1920 x 1080) with Time Lapse (interval recording) mode in 720p, a 4.7 megapixel (2880×1620) CMOS for still photos, a Schneider Wide angle lens offering a wide angle view of 37 mm and a 64GB SSD (and SD card slot) which should make it quite pleasant and quiet for filming.
I can’t help it wondering why this video hasn’t got any sound, or is it just my problem? Anyhow, some readers have emailed in saying how short the last clips of the new Samsung LED TV we showed were, so here’s a new one we just found which should satisfy anyone’s curiosity in this awesome new telly. The video from YouTube was embedded in HD…
Most case mods that get featured online are usually very well done. As for this one, its been done so elegantly – its a complete disguise. The Samsung Eternity (A867), not really a popular phone known to many here in the UK is actually hidden on the underside of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) controller you see in the photo below.
If you hop through the jump, you’re see in the video that everything works perfectly fine (the phone that is!)…
The Samsung Omnia has really come a long way since it was first released. Phonearena have put together a nice video review of the latest version of the Omnia, the Omnia HD i8910. Not only does it have a competitive eight megapixel camera with flash, HD video recording and playback, a surprisingly good battery life, and a form factor that’s not too hard on the pocket, measuring in at just a wee bit taller and thicker than the HTC Touch HD. You will also see from the video that its AMOLED looks brilliant, highly responsive to touch and seems simple and easy to get use to.

Update (31/04/2009): Thanks to those who got in touch, we’ve now posted some videos of Samsung’s new LED TVs which may be of interest.
Long gone are the days when every household would queue up to upgrade to the latest trend of LCD / plasma television sets. Samsung have now upped their game by launching their latest LED (that’s right, Light Emitting Diode) widescreen tellies.
The video below is not bad for those who are looking for iPhone alternatives, in the nine-minute clip, the popular Samsung mobiles Omnia and Omnia HD are also compared with the iPhone 3G. It shows a clear distinction that the Omnia HD has a much more clearer, sharper screen. Quick warning, before you hit the play, you might like to turn down your speakers especially if you’re at work!
