Here’s another round up of a few phones that we are expecting to arrive the UK by December (probably before Christmas) this year…
November
Nokia E51
This phone may not seem the most attractive for many, however it does have features like WLAN, bluetooth, mp3 player and it’s 3G…
Nokia 7900
The Prism 7900 is also a 3G phone, it’s got basic features like bluetooth and a standard 2 megapixel camera…
Samsung G800
This is the newest version of Samsung G600 if you like, it looks quite similar as well. In terms of specifications, it basically has the same features like 5 megapixel camera, bluetooth, mp3 and radio, still no 3G or WiFi though!
The Samsung G800 mobile phone isn’t just a 5 megapixel camera phone… although that’s an excellent place to begin. It also has a 3x optical zoom, offering close-up images with no need for you to move. There’s a Xenon flash for night-time photos, along with panorama shots, multi shots and macro shots. In addition, the G800 is equipped with cutting-edge camera features including face detection and Wide Dynamic Range. And when you’ve finished with photos, you can start with videos. The Samsung G800 is even equipped with video editing features, making it easy for you to create your own films.
Plus there’s fast HSDPA mobile internet access, mobile blogging and a well-featured MP3 player in this slim slide-open handset. With its camera-like looks and its intuitive menu system, the G800 will definitely change the way you think about photography.
This is an update regarding Samsung’s latest handset set to soon launch in the UK, the F210. It is now official that the F210 will arrive the UK by 12 October (which is this friday!).

However if you can’t wait and want to reserve your bid for it, it is possible to order it now via Vodafone, there are no extra charges for pre-ordering and delivery is free, the tariff to come with your pre-order will be a 12-month contract, costing ?40 a month with 500 minutes and 500 texts.
Yes it’s Sunday, but I have been trying to get this post out of my head this week, so I’ll make it short and simple. The following phones listed below have been confirmed to soon be arriving shops in the UK by the date shown:
Sony Ericsson K770i – Expected to launch by October this year (2007)
Sony Ericsson K850i – Expected to launch by October this year (2007)
Sony Ericsson W910i – Expected to launch by October this year (2007)
Sony Ericsson W960i – Expected to launch by December this year (2007)
Back in June, when we wrote a post about a few of Sony Ericsson’s latest upcoming phones, I recently found out we had entirely forgotten to write about the Sony Ericsson W910i!
You may consider the W910i to be a rather “lite” version of the upcoming W960i, however the W960i’s UK launch date is still uncertain. As for the W910i, it is expected to arrive soon, so I hope this quick post isn’t too late.

So what does the W910i offer?
For a start, the W910i will be a brilliant handy, thin slider, only 12.5mm thick (compared to K850i 17mm thick, Nokia N95 21mm, Samsung G600 and E950 14.9mm thick) and will come in “Hearty Red” and “Noble Black” have a look at some of its major specs listed below:
- GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3G, EDGE, GPRS, HSDPA (3.6Mbps), A2DP
- 86g in weight
- TFT, 256K colors
- 240 x 320 pixels, 2.4-inch screen
- Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot
- 40MB internal memory
- Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP
- USB 2.0
- 2 MP camera
- Standby time: up to 400 hours
- Talk time: up to 9 hours
- Other features:
- RSS reader
- Walkman player 3.0
- TrackID music recognition
The W910i will not have a touch screen like some might have expected. However improvements to the walkman series phones such as higher camera resolution and better quality videos plus the ability to play windows media files and real player files will certainly make it a stronger competitor amongst the current new line of multimedia phones.
Ok, enough reading! Check out some actual hands-on videos after the jump:
The fact is there are not many 5-megapixel camera phones available to the UK at the moment, when you try to think of one, you would probably come up with the latest Nokia N95 or even maybe Sony Ericsson’s soon to arrive K850i. But right now, there is nothing as thin and slick as the Samsung G600?

Like the Samsung F200, the F210 is another music phone that was announced during the Communic Asia 2007 tradeshow. The F210 also uses the narrow rotating slider design which had been a great success with the Samsung x830 / x830. However the F210 comes in a greater variety of shiny colours, such as purple, silver, pink.
With its light weight and many attractive colours, the F210 will certainly soon become a popular choice for users who wish to seek convenient music play and simple calling.

Here’s a video preview of the F210, I found uploaded onto Youtube recently:
