It surely is very annoying when you spend some precious time upgrading software for some of your gadgets and lately you find out that one of the best features in that gadget isn’t working. Well, the only option that you have is to downgrade your firmware to the older version which is again a boring task. Something similar has happened with Samsung Blu-ray player and reactions from its users aren’t pleasing. Samsung recently updated its 2009 BD – PX600 Blu-ray player with the version 2.09 firmware update to fix some of the known issues.

Unfortunately, the update has gone wrong with the blu-ray player, the result is that the player isn’t able to run movies from Warner Bros. and Universal! Yeah, you won’t be able to enjoy movies from two of your fav distributors if you upgrade your Samsung Blu-ray player.

They have been dreaming of their newly designed Epic 4G to settle down in history as an epic but this just won’t be that easy with over a million phones already available in the market. For those who already owe the lower end models of Samsung and love it just because it is a slider; it is time for them to move on.

The Samsung Epic 4G for Sprint packs the screen of the Galaxy S, the 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, the 5MP camera with 720p video and Android 2.1 Eclair with the upgrade to 2.2 Froyo coming soon.

Samsung seriously seems to be fighting with the likes of Canon and Nikon at least in the range of compact cameras. They have been releasing some quality compact cameras recently and another in the lineup is the PL 90. So what is difference in this newly launched compact camera by Samsung that lets it fight against the giants like Canon and Nikon?

Well, the newly launched Samsung PL 90 has a built in USB connector henceforth you will be able to connect it to your laptop directly without requiring any cable connections. I am not sure if it will look cool or weird but it does seem to be new and worth a shot (at least in the Samsung store itself if you don’t want to invest your money!)
