Following the news and analysis that Apple may soon be launching a special event on the 8th of September from some bloggers. This leaked image does fit in well with what could be unveiled shortly. This together with an overdued Apple product cycle and the launch of Microsoft’s Zune HD (15th of September), it highly boosts the likelihood of seeing a new iPod Touch (with camera?).
Though I am personally less concerned with the iPod Touch having a camera and rather would be more happy to see it if it boasted features such as OLED display, HD radio and video! Let us know what you think of the pictures, what would you like to see in the next generation iPod Touch?
A veteran analyst who claims to have seen Apple’s long rumored iTablet has stated that he expects the new device to be announced in September. He also suggests that it could ship as soon as November. Pricing wise, the iTablet’s price will be what you’d expect from Apple and will come in close to the high-end of $700-$800.
Leaked by Nikon themselves, it looks like Nikon D300S is currently in the making. The below Nikon LCD screen gives it away at both corners, its said that the image was taken from an official Nikon USA site. In addition, the left bottom corner’s SD logo hints dual card support which if is true will be excellent news.
Some of the specs of the next Samsung Omnia, Omnia II have leaked. Its said that the upcoming touchscreen flagship will be called the GT-I8000. The Omnia 2 was leaked by a Lithuanian on-line retailer, which has now removed its embarrassing leakage.
Unconfirmed specs revealed so far includes a 3.7-inch WVGA TFT resistive touchscreen display, 8.1 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and VGA@30fps video recording, 150 MB internal memory, a Qualcomm processor and a microSD card slot. The connectivity includes all you may need as usual including 3G support, Bluetooth, miniUSB, GPS and Wi-Fi.
Rumors speculate that the Windows Mobile OS on board will be heavily customized and will bear the Samsung’s TouchWiz styling with deep menu restyling. DivX/XViD support is also expected.
