We’ve seen quite a few gadgets made of gold here on GadgetLite but probably none as expensive as this? This is the limited edition Nintendo Wii Supreme. It took specialist crafter Stuart Hughes six months to complete, this ladies and gentlemen is a Nintendo Wii that is 2.5kg more heavier than the standard you would find at your local game shop because all that weight has gone into that solid 22 carat gold exterior.
Vertu‘s products are known for their superior pricetags (and of course quality) in which only spenders of the higher social class can afford. For most people looking at a new gadget like this will only make them think how many more tech toys I’d be able to buy for the price of this piece of *unk… The good news is, this Vertu V Collection bluetooth headset is probably the most affordable of all the products they’ve launched – its just that this isn’t an actual phone, just the headset 🙁
A Koenigsegg supercar made of one gigantic piece of high-tech solar panel that runs purely on electrons? Yes exactly, this is no joke. The Quant is the offspring of the latest Koenigsegg-NLV (NLV Solar AG) partnership, its a four-passenger coupe with an electric motor driving each rear wheel. The combined output of this unique package is 512 horsepower, which is expected to bring the supercar from knot to 60 in about five seconds. Just recently revealed by Panasonic, tips so far suggests that pricing for the Panasonic TC-P54Z1 will at least be an awesome $5,999.95 when it begins shipping in June. It’s a huge 54-inch, only one inch thick and has got HDMI. Function wise, the Z1 sports a native contrast ratio of 40,000:1, 24Hz Cinematic Playback and THX Certification. The wireless HDMI box included within will read video and audio from your DVD, Blu-ray or Media Center PC to the HDTV, in addition the Z1 also has VIERA Link Internet connectivity and a VIERA Link SD card reader too. So how about it? Will you pay six grand?
I suppose the title could also be called rich people furnitures too. Do you have a laptop and often like to do your work on it while sitting in front of your tv? Well now you don’t need to make it so complicated. No more dragging the laptop out into the lounge and run out of battery after a few hours, then to find yourself looking for the laptop power adapter. Because the Athena Multimedia Sofa will take care of all of that, it’s got its own built in pc. The designer Artanova hasn’t given any specs, but from what it looks like, the display should have touch capability. The luxury though does come at an eye-popping price of approx. $15,436, which seems like a bit over the top in these hard times – so the PC in this sofa better be a quiet one, if not that would be quite annoying!
