If you’re a video blogger, or a car reviewer you might find the Car Camera quite useful. Indeed you don’t have to be a professional user to make use of this gadget, the Car Camera has actually been built for legal or insurance purposes.
It can be mounted easily in any vehicle. And it records all outside and inside events. It supports SD memory card from 128MB to 2GB and the recorded file will be saved automatically inside the memory card after finished recording. And you can play the video in PC or in TV by the AV cable provided.
The Nissan GTR has probably been one of the most talked about fast cars on auto magazines in the past months and even Top Gear has given a drive in their recent season. Now it’s available in American and up for bid too, but this isn’t just any GTR. This Titanium Nissan GTR is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8L VR38DETT engine that generates 480hp and 434 ft-lb of torque. With this car being so rare (most of it is handmade you know, only 1000 produced in a month), no wonder eight bidders have already put their hands up since its eBay listing was put up, even though its starting price was a hefty $85,000 USD! You can also go for a Buy It Now at $109,000 USD too, just in case you were wondering!
If you’re dead serious about Batman, err the Dark Knight then you’ll like this. Putting the batman spotlight on youself with your very own lamp right next to your PC with this easy to create USB gadget. You don’t necessarily need to have a gigawatt three phase power supply, all you have is a measly little 5V USB, though you won’t be able to summon the help of the Caped Crusader, you will be able to summon a few jealous friends!
SimpleTech’s [re]drive has a super large capacity of 500Gb and is well equipped with a turbo USB 2.0 connection, at just $160, it already has enough quality to stand out from the crowd. But that’s not all, it’s also claimed to be THE MOST eco friendly, though this is highly subjective of everyone’s view, but the [re]drive’s casing is made of bamboo and aluminium. The hard drive itself is low in terms of energy consumption, more importantly, the [re]drive doesn’t even have a fan and that’s all part of its superior design to use aluminium as part of its casing material.
Here in the UK, some households are beginning to use solar power to heat up water in place of gas powered boilers, but these things cost alot and I must say they aren’t all that popular and not everyone realises how important solar power is going to be in the future. That’s why I think this deserves some mention, the Drake Landing Solar Community, in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada, is the first solar powered community of North America. There are altogether 800 solar panels located throughout the 52-household community, on garage roofs, house roofs and these can produce a total of 1.5 mega-watts of thermal power during a single summer day and can be used to supply heat to the district heating system. The whole system meets 90% of the annual heating and hot water needs of the homes, I think this just sets out such a good example of how everyone can live in a much ‘greener’ way with the use of environment friendly technologies. Yes, it may be expensive to start off with at first, but the benefits outweighs the cost by such a far greater proportion.

Unlike the gold plated Porsche 911 Convertible from Russia we showed earlier this week, this Porsche 911 GT2 fine tuned by TechArt aka the GTstreet RS appears much more attractive and appealing. This is not the first time TechArt has tuned a Porsche as stunning as this, if you follow the TechArt link after the jump you will find from their site that they have been tuning various Porsches for some time.

If you’re not like many tech fanatics nowadays who just rely on mobile phones to check time, this timepiece concept may interest you. As you can see, its not got the most modern look of all designs, just a simple LCD display, but the strap does look very geeky, it made of PC ribbon cable with one of its end connected to USB. This USB bit of the watch is normally hidden away when worn, but that’s not to say it doesn’t have a purpose. The concept is that the Timeless Watch is actually powered via USB, while the watch isn’t worn, plugging it into your PC will apparently charge the watch up!
To make this design even more geeky, I suggest maybe giving it some sort of memory stick / flash drive component? More pics after the jump…
