Dubbed the Zero-Watt PC, don’t let this name confuse you as being a PC that consumes no energy at all to run. The machine is called Zero-Watt PC simply because it can be managed in a standby state despite consuming no power, as claimed by Fujitsu Siemens (FSC). No one but FSC knows exactly how this has been achieved, however we will soon find out as FSC will be bringing their latest environment friendly creation to the CeBIT show, where the Zero-Watt PC will get its first public outing. CeBIT kicks off on 3 March in Hannover, Germany.
Here comes another very glossy Inspiron Mini from Dell. The Mini 10 is a 10-inch deal powered by an Intel Atom Z530 processor running at 1.6GHz, with a glass screen, a multi-touch trackpad with gesture support, built-in GPS, 802.11n Wi-Fi, mobile broadband and even an integrated TV tuner.
That glossy 10-inch display can show 720p high-definition content, and the screen itself is a widescreen 16:9 model. An edge-to-edge keyboard helps take advantage of what little typing space is available on a laptop this size, so all being well the Mini 10 won’t be out of the question for speedy typists!
Dell didn’t release much other details at its press conference, but we’d expect Windows Vista or Windows XP on board to be likely, a couple of gigabytes of RAM and a solid-state disk option, just like the Dell Inspiron Mini 9. No prices or availability details yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

For some who didn’t believe Powermat could really charge our gadgets wirelessly, here’s a video of it in action. I too was a tiny bit skeptical about all this, I never thought this was possible, but they have now done it at a CES demonstration for Engadget.
Powermat gadget chargers consists of a no conductive charging mat and a series of adapters which you can either plug into your gadget, or you can add a case to your gadget, which charges it via the charging mat without any wires.
Sony has come out with its VAIO P, the world’s lightest 8-inch netbook at just 1.4 pounds. It is a Vista running netbook, something we don’t see quite that frequently. It’s powered by a 1.33GHz Intel processor and comes with 1,600 x 768 resolution LED-backlit XBRITE-ECO LCD display, 2GB RAM, up to 60GB hard drive + available 128GB SSD, 802.11n WiFi, 3G WWAN, Bluetooth, battery that provides four hours working (can offer up to eight hours with the optional high-capacity cell) and a GPS module. Color options include garnet red, emerald green, onyx black, crystal white and classic black hues.
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this was that, are these emitting lights naturally and on it’s own? Unfortunately, no. LumiTable or Luminous Fiber Optics Table Runner is made of a type of fiber optics fabric called Luminex with assorted cotton borders. As a result, creates a coloured light along the full length of the fibers, producing a stunning luminous effect as you can see. This new shiny technology looks great and I can think of plenty of uses for it, but for now, it remains just as decorations and clothing. The table measures 160 cm x 33 cm. It is washable and like I said, it does need power which it does so from a mains adapter.

I never thought an eco-friendly gadget almost based on the same concept as the HyMini would become reality as quickly as this.
