Recently we were sent the new and recently launched Huawei E586 Three MiFi mobile broadband modem for a review. For those of you who don’t know exactly how this works, its essentially a simple portable device that provides its users internet access via a 3G data connection on the go. In many ways it is similar to that of 3G on your smartphone, the advantage of using a MiFi is that it enables more than one WiFi enabaled device to use the same connection at the same time.
Electric ‘supercars’ are becoming more popular though they may never replace the petrol burning beasts we see today. We’ve featured plenty of Lego fun in the past, but the latest DiCaprio film Inception in Lego? Displayed recently at the CeBIT, the ASUS PL30JT is a new ultraportable 13.3″ laptop on a slim diet. Asus have established themselves over the years for making quality laptops that not only look good but also pretty dependable. What the PL30JT has to offer is the added attractive feature of being slim, though there are quite a few choices available when it comes to laptops thinner than one-inch, the PL30JT looks to deliver this as well as provide at the same time some powerful specs.
Not sure what you guys think, but I personally am not a fan of the new hinge Dell has given the new Adamo XPS. It’s mounted a quarter of the way up the lid, so when it opens, the metal-tipped keys are angled to (in theory) provide a more ergonomic typing position. Engadget has taken some first hands on photos of the new Adamo, a few of them can be found in the gallery below.
Thanks to Fred who tipped us about these pictures taken and released by Tinh Te, its the Motorola Droid! Those of you who are interested in getting this beast won’t need us to explain much. Yes it does run the new Android 2.0 and many believe there is no doubt Moto has created a potential iPhone killer. Also if you’re in the US with this phone, you’ll be one of the first to use Google’s new turn by turn Maps Navigation app on it, absolutely free.
Check out the full official specs and features below…
