First update for OS X Lion released
Apple has just launched the first update for their new OS X Lion. The update is available for download via Apple or via software update, the files being only 17.4 MB in size. This update deals with problems related to the Wi-Fi and as Apple claims the ability to connect to Wi-fi networks is greatly improved with this update.

World’s best operating system celebrates its 10th birthday
Yesterday marked the tenth year of existence for Apple’s Mac OS X operating system, billed by many as the world’s best operating system. The first release, billed as Cheetah, was given to the world on 24 March 2001. The new operating system got off to a somewhat rocky start with lack of hardware support and some severe bugs but since the developers have produced polished releases time and time again.
Latest XCode 4 brings new features and new price
Apple has decided to release the newest version of their XCode Integrated Development Environment app for a price this time. While XCode has been free for owners of OS X machines and has been included on the install media for years they’ve decided to charge a nominal fee for the latest release: $4.99.

Trim support for SSDs finally shipping in Snow Leopard 10.6.6
Since the release of SSDs, techies, Windows users, and bloggers have been bashing Apple for not including support for the TRIM command in OS X. The TRIM command allows operating systems to mark sections of SSDs for deletion.
