Orange has announced today that its first ever Windows Phone 7 handsets to hit the UK – the HTC 7 Mozart and Samsung Omnia 7, will be available tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
Oxford Street based Orange store will open its doors at 7 am with anticipationo that queues of long awaited fans will be wanting a first look at these highly anticipated Windows Phone 7 mobiles.
With mobile phones these days so heavily focused on new features like applications and mobile platforms, it seems many have forgotten the sole purpose of mobiles, for talking. Orange though haven’t, in the video below, the network provider demos their new technology which aims to provide noise reduction but with improved voice clarity – Orange HD Voice. Alcatel has just launched their new model One Touch XTRA that will be optimized for social networking as well as simple browsing. Great thing about this phone is its price so it will be quite affordable for customers.
Late last week it was emerged that here in the UK, Orange has managed to snatch an exclusive deal with Sony Ericsson’s first Android OS powered device, the XPERIA X10 (white).
The mobile operator today confirmed the white version of the eagerly anticipated device will be available from early April and will be free to customers on select pay monthly contracts. A couple weeks ago we mentioned about the launch of the Motorola Dext- Motorola’s first ever Android powered smartphone. To be available exclusively from Orange in the UK it has been confirmed that the new Android Moto phone will be on sale in Orange retail outlets from tomorrow as wellas in Phones 4U stores from the 8th October.
Its been a while since Motorola caught our attention but last week they’ve finally taken a step forward to unleash their new and first ever Android powered smartphone – the Motorola Dext (or Cliq if you’re elsewhere not in Europe).
Due to arrive the UK next month via Orange, not only will the Dext be an Android powered sliding beast but also one with a touch of Motorola customisation. Known as MOTOBLUR (Motorola Blur), the platform aims to act as a social media aggregator syncing with Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Picasa and others onto a customizable homescreen that displays info users want from any of the services.
