Some of you may already know it, Samsung SDI is the world’s largest OLED display manufacturer so does this news come as a surprise to many? Samsung has confirmed that it aims to roll out the pictured laptop with a 12.1-inch, 1280×768 AMOLED screen by the end of year 2010. Though no further specs on this beauty has yet been unveiled, when we hear those four letters put together, we simply just drool.
On the downside though, with a lappie of this class, we don’t expect it to be within the price range of “back to school deals”. In fact, it may be at such a luxurious price that many will have to wait abit before you’d be able to set your hands on one, unless you don’t mind burning a huge hole through your wallet!
We posted a hands on video about the latest Sony X-series OLED Walkman a few days ago. Although there is no official press release, Pocket-lint and other UK sites are claiming that Sony’s OLED Walkman will arrive UK high streets today. The Sony OLED Walkman will be priced at £209 for the 16GB model and £279 for the 32GB model.
Check out this recent hands on video of the new Sony X Series Walkman from Engadget. We know you all love your OLEDs, the NWZ-X1050 sports OLED touch screen and you will see the difference it makes in the vid below. While it is an evaluation unit (from Japan?), the NWZ-X1050 is now already available in Japan and Asia. We don’t expect there to be much difference when the X1050 eventually arrives here in the UK or the US.
