Just officially announced yesterday, the 26mm thick MSI X-Slim X350 laptop comes with a unique eye-catching, glitter pattern on its exterior surface created by MSI’s unique diamond-motif etching technology. Weighing only 1.5kg (with battery), as you will expect from a new addition to MSI’s X-Slim series, the X350 boasts nice features not just on the outside but also internally.
The X350 boasts Intel’s CULV Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of memory, integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics, up to 500GB hard drive, and a 13.4-inch 16:9 HD LCD display with LED-backlight for movie theatre quality performance.

Micro-Star Int’l (MSI) has announced their latest Core i7-equipped MSI GT640 15.4-inch gaming laptop. Along with a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, the GT640 also features strong specs which has allowed the Taiwan-based company to temporaily claim the title as the world’s most powerful gaming notebook.
Onboard the GT640 is a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M 1GB dedicated video card, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive storage, and a built-in DVD burner or Blu-ray drive. Other notables include a two megapixel webcam, HDMI, 7.1 channel audio output and an eSATA input. No info on pricing yet however given that it will come with Windows 7 Home Premium, its likely release date would probably be after the 22nd of this month.
You will recall not very long ago MSI unveiled their latest plans to counter Apple’s MacBook Air with two new ultra slim laptops, the X340 and X360. And what we have here is the X340. At the time we knew very little, but now more specs have been revealed at the CeBIT. The X340 will be equipped with a 13-inch wide LED display in the golden 16:9 ratio, the X340 will support various multimedia functions with HDMI and built-in Blu-ray. Continue reading »
