Kingston is a leading brand in small storage devices among SD cards, microSD cards and USB flash drives. The normal microSD cards which are 4GB from Kingston are 4MB/second transfer rate but they are raising the bar. Kingston has released a 16GB microSD card which can transfer files at 10MB/second.
Check this out, Chinavasion is claiming this to be the world’s smallest HD media player, probably the cheapest too. The GO Media HD player measures at just 82mm x 15mm, and offers a simple and convenient way to enjoy all your HD media while on-the-go. What’s more is that it also boasts an internal memory of 2GB which is then expandable if you have your own Micro SD.
While the Sony Ericsson Satio may not be the phonemaker’s latest smartphone, a few months back when it first launched here in the UK, there were a few problems with the handset which led it to having been withdrawal from the shelves! However, Sony Ericsson didn’t leave this for long. The Satio has been a popular choice of cameraphone since the error got patched up. Its most attractive feature is probably its 12.1 megapixel camera and unique new UI. We’ve been lucky to be sent one for a review and here are some of our pics so far.
Leaked by Motorola themself in a webpage that was meant to be published at a later date are the specs of the Motorola Droid. We spoke about the Android Moto as a potential iPhone killer this week, now its specs have been confirmed.
The Droid will have a 3.7-inch, 16:9 touch screen with 480 x 854 resolution. A 5 megapixel camera with 4x zoom, autofocus, and dual LED flash. A 1400 mAh Li-ion battery for up to 385 minutes of usage time and 270 hours standby. The powerhouse of the phone will be a 550MHz processor. There will be a pre-installed 16GB microSD card. Connectivity wise, GPS, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g WiFi and a micro USB port as standard. Six ounces of weight spread out over a 2.4 x 4.6 x 0.5-inch body.
Samsung has made an announcement finally making their new ‘Plus’ class memory cards official. Their new Plus range will be available to consumers in ill be available in SD, microSD and Compact Flash (CF) formats and will boast up to 16GB of memory capacity. With Secure Digital class 6 performance standards and speeds of up to 45 Mb/s, these will be a hit amongst photographers and mobile phone users.
A couple weeks ago we mentioned about the launch of the Motorola Dext– Motorola’s first ever Android powered smartphone. To be available exclusively from Orange in the UK it has been confirmed that the new Android Moto phone will be on sale in Orange retail outlets from tomorrow as wellas in Phones 4U stores from the 8th October.
Its been a while since Motorola caught our attention but last week they’ve finally taken a step forward to unleash their new and first ever Android powered smartphone – the Motorola Dext (or Cliq if you’re elsewhere not in Europe).
Due to arrive the UK next month via Orange, not only will the Dext be an Android powered sliding beast but also one with a touch of Motorola customisation. Known as MOTOBLUR (Motorola Blur), the platform aims to act as a social media aggregator syncing with Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Picasa and others onto a customizable homescreen that displays info users want from any of the services.
