This year’s PS3 gaming superstars, Metal Gear Solid and Grand Theft Auto, are both only on iteration number four! Somewhat out there are a lot of people who are no longer satisfied with singing into their shampoo-bottle microphones while showering. And thanks to Sing Star’s new online features, they’re rinsing off their bath-time anonymity for a shot at the big time. Yup, they’re bad as Hell and they’re not going to hide it anymore!
Hot from the E3 2009, the video after the jump is the official Metal Gear Solid: Rising debut teaser. To be available on the PS3, 360 and PC, this latest addition to MGS isn’t centered around Solid Snake, but rather Raiden.
Exactly like it was previously confirmed, Konami had mentioned that the Metal Gear Solid Touch game app would be released in Spring 2009 but little did we know how on time they would be in pushing their app out. It seems now we know, the ever so popular console game is now available for purchase from the App store for $7.99 and will weigh in as a 87.3B download (link). The game already has over 50 reviews with a 4.5 star rating, so it must be living up to expectations?
After much speculation, it’s now confirmed! According to 1UP, the game will feature 8 levels with more to be added on later. Also, points earned within the game will be used to unlock images and wallpaper. From the looks of the screen shot and confirmed by a company press release, the game will take place during Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
The game is due Spring 2009.
