While I personally believe Steve Jobs has entered the new 11″ MacBook Air into the dying market of netbooks, he has however, created a Mac netbook like no other. With the new MacBook Air just as thin but even more lightweight (2.3 pounds), it will be an attractive netbook hard to beat.

This explains the fact that it can allow instant-on functionality. The latest MacBook Air is the first of a new generation of notebooks that leaves behind mechanical rotating storage in favor of solid state flash storage.

Apple has announced a renewal of their MacBook Pro line up, after much speculation of new upcoming MacBooks with improved spec, the store was offline for a short period earlier today. Though no changes to their aluminum, unibody appearance. Most notable of the new range is that the 13-inch now boasts NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics chip, this means the ability to provide up to 80% faster and better graphics performance as well as an improved 10-hour battery life.

The 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro now boasts the new Intel Core i5 and i7 processors giving a boosted performance of up to 50% over the previous generation.
