After having the exclusive opportunity of seeing first hand the brand new Black Label Series LG Chocolate BL40 last week, here’s my first impressions of the new phone from LG and also some photos and videos from that night. It was one of the best LG events I’ve ever attended, LG wanted the launch night to be extraordinary and to do that they invited UK designer Wayne Hemmingway to celebrate the launch of the BL40.
What every phonemaker wants to accomplish when they launch a new handset is for people to think that it is like no other. For the LG BL40, LG wanted its first impression to be the phone of the future, to have an iconic design which makes it standout and distinct from any other.

Our friends at the LGBlog recently got a chance to do a quick photo shoot of the latest to arrive the LG Black Label family. The new LG Chocolate mobile phone aka BL40 is now official. Its the latest addition to LG’s Black Label device series, boasting an ultra-wide, glossy red and black exterior and of course that 4-inch 800×344 (21:9) multitouch screen which everyone has been talking about since the video leaked. Here’s a quick gallery of official shots which have just released.
Though not yet fully confirmed, its expected that the new second generation LG Chocolate will boast a five megapixel camera and connectivity features including WiFi, HSDPA and A-GPS (specs much like those of the Arena). The BL40 will be available from Q3 across 54 different countries.
