Charging iOS devices isn’t always an easy task, especially if you’re trying to do it in the dark because it might be hard to connect your charger to your iOS device, but today we have a device that can make this process a bit simpler.
Designed by the Japanese to help those who need power the most at times of natural disasters, the Sterling Multi PowerStation 5600 is a multi-equipped, emergency lifesaver device that gives you a combination of hand-crank-powered-dynamo LED light, AM/FM radio, three rechargeable AA batteries, and adapters capable of charging most cell phones and portable devices.
Though we don’t usually think about needing these handy gadgets in the UK, this torch could come in handy on outdoor trips such as camping. More importantly for those in other parts of the world where earthquakes occur frequently, this is extremely useful.

We realise its past The Gadget Show Live now, but this isn’t a sponsored post. We reckon this infact is quite a breakthrough, we’re surprised we managed to not report about this until now. The “Light for Life” UC3.400 torch isn’t just a nonsense sales pitch, in fact, this latest in technology gadget by 5.11 could be the last torch you’ll ever need to buy again (unless you loose it of course).
We received some pretty cool LED flashlights from Spotlight last week. For those who have not heard of them before, Spotlights are 12V rechargeable led flashlights / torches, which charge using car’s cigarette lighter. It may be the solution when you need that bit of extra light in your car. For example, if you have dropped something under your seat and you are desperate to find where they were, on the other hand for emergencies, its good to have a torch handy and full of battery when its required.
We’ve been playing around with the PAD-L portable LED light for sometime now and we thought it was about time to share our comments on what its like.
