So is it iTablet or iSlate now? Confusing isn’t it? No one is certain, but after it was revealed that Apple had bought the domain islate.com in 2007, many now speculate that Steve Jobs had been planning this all along and that the device we’re about to see will be called iSlate. I personally think the name iSlate is an awful name for a tablet and believe this is just coincidental that we find out about this just one month before we think Apple is due to announce their iTablet Mac – the date for this is thought to be 26th 27th of January.

It appears Motorola has been building their own Android Marketplace known as the SHOP4APPS and Android and Me got there to check it out before Moto pulled the plug on it. Its web-based which means it would be accessable from any desktop browser. Its got all the usual free apps and paid apps, but why would Motorola want to have their own Android OS application marketplace?

Here’s a picture of supposedly a leaked document of a new Nokia N87 mobile which has been mentioned to come with a 12-megapixel camera, dual LED Xenon flash, a 3.2″ capacitive WVGA display, 16GB of internal flash memory and a 600MHz processor. Its highly subjective to speculation especially at this stage where there isn’t even a prototype in sight, wonder what it will look like?
