Being showcased at the CeBIT this year is another one of ASUS’s new innovative designs. Fingerprints smudging all over the place will definitely be an issue, but ASUS puts a new taste and challenge on classically designed laptops by replacing the keyboard with a second touchscreen display. Not sure, whether you’d call it a “dual touchscreen tablet pc” then? As you can see in the gallery below, its thin and is already running Windows 7. Anyways, news on pricing and availability have not yet been announced but I’m sure there will be more to come.

Gallery: More Dell Adamo pictures!

On March 2, 2009, in Laptops / Computers, by Admin Staff

Has the Dell Adamo been the hot topic of the weekend or what? We’ve received a few messages on whether we could show more pictures of the ultrathin laptop from Dell, especially the white one. While I’m not a big fan of white laptops, because the aluminum chassis looks even better in the black version Dell Adamo, we managed to retrieve a few of them courtesy of AnandTech. So here they are, enjoy.

It’s been a good few weeks since we learnt that Sony was entering the netbook arena, with their latest flagship laptop the VAIO P Series. However, many still aren’t convinced that the P Series is actually a netbook. In the hands on video below done brilliantly by RegHardware’s editor Tony Smith, you will see the VAIO P Series in all its slim and sleek glory. Its extremely thin as you would imagine and Sony always does a good job at making their laptops as glossy and as elegant as possible.

Mark Wilson over at Gizmodo has been testing different Microsoft operating systems on a few laptops, in particular netbooks. At first he tried Vista but that didn’t go well at all. Then he decided to install Windows 7 on the Dell Inspiron Mini 12 simply because he had nothing to loose. The Mini 12 is a 12-inch Intel Atom netbook and his had 1GB of RAM, surprisingly its gone well for him so far, in his opinion the netbook runs Windows 7 even better than Windows Vista. Though start menu and programs would still lag, plus aero needs to be deactivated, but does this still support the fact that Microsoft has done a good job so far with improving Windows 7 beyond Vista?

Here’s another recap of those juicy Sony OLEDs by Megawhat.tv which were featured at this year’s CES. Wristwatches with bending screens, full screen folding laptops, etc… you name it. We’ve been tipped some of our videos aren’t working within feed readers like Google Reader. This sounds like an old WordPress issue, so we’re looking into that, meanwhile if you can all do us a favour and email us / leave a comment if you spot a post with videos that aren’t working!

Update: Looks like Megawhat’s videos aren’t that stable, so we’ve found one almost exactly the same by CNET, enjoy!
