This is a really good deal from Amazon’s own Black Friday deal. Although it’s the last generation, it’s still a good Kindle uses the same e-ink tech as the current Nook.

Amazon’s attempt to boost sales by encouraging every user to buy and read off their Kindle Store even if you don’t have the latest Kindle 2? Amazon this week has released a free application that delivers Kindle book-reading to the iPhone (and iPod Touch of course), extending the company’s sales of e-books to devices beyond its Kindle e-book reader.
What a massive difference the new Kindle 2 makes when it is compared with the old Kindle. Not only does it have smooth sexy round corners but its also so much more thinner. The redesign of its keyboard also makes the new Kindle much more appealing, but I have to say the most attractive feature to me in terms of hardware is its further improved battery life.
