TomTom’s iPhone sat nav application hasn’t had the best of starts. As we mentioned a few weeks ago, an update could just be around the corner. It was anticipated at that time that an update to the application would include finally everything that disappointed users have requested, ie such as advanced lane guidance.

Those who enjoy using new ways to edit pictures directly on their iPhone prior to uploading to various social networking websites will definitely appreciate this new tool. Apple releases iPhone OS 3.1.2

On October 9, 2009, in Cell Phones, by KLS

Its not been very long since iPhone OS 3.1 was released but Apple yesterday just released an update for the iPhone OS, upgrading it to 3.1.2. Though this appears to be just a minor update fixing the widely reported issues where the iPhone would not wake from sleep and also an issue involving video streaming, playback and cellular service, we would recommend any iPhone user who has a jailbroken / unlocked iPhone to delay from installing this update.

The iPhone Dev Team have released their latest updated version of PwnageTool, 3.1.3. This new jailbreak tool extends its reach to the third generation iPhone 3GS as well as second generation iPod Touch. It’s out! Finally a proper Facebook app update which I have really been looking forward to. The new Facebook app version 3.0 for the iPhone / iPod Touch aims to make staying connected to and sharing updates with your friends an even easier experience than before.

Probably the features which I have personally been most wanting to see is support for landscape mode, zooming photos, seeing latest b-day and updates and of course a complete photo management entirely from your iPhone. For iPhone 3GS users, you will definitely be delighted to know that the new Facebook 3.0 app now finally gives you the ability to upload videos which you have recorded.
