Just a few hours ago, Comedian Stephen Fry published onto his YouTube channel an unboxing video of the new Apple iPad. In the video you’ll see Stephen open the Apple-branded case, the iPad itself, the 10W adapter and keyboard dock.
What you’re looking at below is possibly the first working, untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch third gen. According to jailbreaking expert Geohot, the jailbreak should be out soon and additionally, the boy genius believes that the iPad should be jailbreakable in the exact same technique, this renders the Apple iPad literally “jailbroken” when it comes out next Friday from day one.
Since Apple began accepting pre-orders for their new flagship tablet iPad in the run up to its launch on April the 5th, a new cat and mouse game between Apple and hackers have in fact been quietly underway.

Its finally official, Apple has told in a press release the official launch date of the iPad. It will be available from April 3rd, while for those of you in the US, the queue for pre-ordering the non-3G version of the new device will open from next friday. Its also been said that the 3G version will be coming in late April along with iPads for users in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. For those in the UK, all it says is that the iPad will be coming late April, no exact date is yet available.
Make way for the real iTablet! No folks, this is not the Apple iPad. The much rumored name is now actually associated with a British organization. The UK based company X2 has named its latest Tablet PC, the iTablet.

As we may all know, “iTablet” was one of the rumored names for Apple iPad. Releasing this tablet with the same name, X2 might have played a trick to gain undue popularity. However, it’s Apple’s time to turn some heat on by taking a legal action.
