The iPhone is once again free! Following the not so hopeful jailbreak for iPhone v1.1.1 yesterday by a non-Dev Team (possibly called the ‘Elite’ iPhone Team), we now have one that does a much better job of breaking free the Apple iPhone firmware v1.1.1.
However, before I go on to summarise this new v1.1.1 unlocking method
there is one bad news… this new hack is not applicable to those who used anySIM or iUnlock to unlock your iphone, if you do use it, it will brick your iPhone! (<–See update at the bottom) For everyone who used hacks like TurboSIM, IPSF Paid solution, etc… you will be able to use it.
Zicplay Microkey mp3 players have been said to be the tiniest 1 Gb mp3 players produced yet. What is so special about it is that they are smaller than iPod Shuffles, do not require the use of iTunes and yet will also be available in a variety of shiny, attractive colours. Actually, the main feature is yet to come, Zicplay’s Microkey players do not have screens but have heat sensitive interface casings, which means you simply press its play indicator to well…play! Also its got built-in an equivalent amount of music storage capacity as the iPod Shuffle plus a Li rechargeable battery that can last up to 6 hours of music play time. Interestingly a relatively new piece of technology has been applied to this new mini-player,a cable that actually turns on the mp3 player when they are plugged inand hung around the neck giving the whole concept a ‘jewel’s design’ and a cool-elegant feeling for the person using it.
What’s the latest in technology and fashion accessory recently? Well of course the new Apple iPods! And if you’re interested in getting the new third generation of Apple iPod Nanos, you should probably have a look at this too:
iXoundWear has designed a sports cap for the latest iPod Nano, simply slip your Nano into the pocket provided over the right hand side of your cap and you’re ready to attract loads of attention! :] Though the caps aren’t available yet, but the source tells us that the caps will be available in five different colours to match your iPod, from November

Here’s some news about a soon to arrive video / mp3 player to look out for, SanDisk’s latest version of Sansa View!
Following the news about the launch of redesigned new iPods and iPod Touch, SanDisk decided it was also time to tell the world about their newly improved media players. The new Sansa Views has been redesigned with a new 2.4-inch, 320×240 pixels screen, if you can recall the old Sansa View which was abit chubby both in size and thickness, this new one will instead be more comfortable to hold in the palm of your hands.
The new Sansa View will support video formats like MPEG4, WMV and H.264, it will also come bundled with a converter software, allowing you to convert DivX formats for viewing.
As you can see in the pic above, at just 0.35″ thin, it will be a convenient handheld media player / device, along with a battery that SanDisk has claimed to be able to last up to 7 hours of video play and 35 hours of music play.
Additionally, the new Sansa View will be available in 8 Gb and 16 Gb. Although it isn’t available to the UK yet, based on its pricing, what you pay for a 8 Gb Sansa View will only get you a 4 Gb Apple iPod, which is about $149 USD, equivalent to approximately £73 pounds.
The new iPod has been spoken about in everyone’s conversation here in the UK, Apple this and iPod Touch that…woh…we britons are just as addicted to Apple as any other nation after all. I realise its already been in the press, in the news on tv and you readers out there probably know more about then i do! But ok, it doesn’t matter, this will just be a quick post with lots of cool pics and some main specs about the new iPod Touch.
So it turns out Apple will finally be launching an iPod with touch screen and WiFi, the new iPod will be equipped with a hi-resolution 3.5″ screen, Safari web browser, with its internet connectivity, users will also be able to directly download music via iTunes. The new iPod Touch does not have any buttons, music controls, everything is simply based on control via its touchscreen. However, if you’ve read up to this point, you may probably realise there is really nothing more to the new iPod Touch that iPhone doesn’t already have, except for the phone bit.
If you were to hold the iPod Touch, you will notice that it is thinner (8mm) in comparison to the iPhone, may be that is the main difference! In terms of pricing, iPod Touch will be expected to arrive the UK (and worldwide) by the end of the month. Roughly speaking, the 8 Gb version will cost approx. £150.00, while the 16 Gb will be £200.00.
If you haven’t seen the new iPod Touch’s ‘guided tour’ video, here’s your chance now:
Enough reading, have a look at these pics for a sec and see what the real thing looks like:
