As we all gear up to the Apple event next Wednesday (27th Jan), most are already certain that we’ll be seeing Apple launch their first tablet Mac aka iSlate / iTablet. However, some are speculating that this isn’t all that Apple may be hiding. The latest rumor surrounding this suggests a brand new fourth generation iPhone 4G may be unveiled as soon as next week or this coming Summer. Its analysis by various sites differs at the moment but some believe there will be an iPhone 4G on the basis of the latest revealed shots of iPhone firmware OS in version 4.0.
The above is a nice visual of all the rumors that have been going on for the possibly upcoming iPhone 4G / iSlate iTablet from Apple. Well folks, new rumors are now being spoken about the possibility of a new upcoming fourth generation iPhone. This news originates from the South Korean local iPhone carrier KT Telecom. It is believed that the rumored new iPhone could reach the Korean company for trial purposes as soon as the coming April and would officially be available near June.
Update (08062009): We’re blogging the WWDC live now!
This is very exciting news everyone, even before the WWDC gets on the way more images relating to the upcoming iPhone 2009 have leaked. While many have been calling the next generation iPhone, the 2009 iPhone, it seems Apple may have prepared more than was first thought.
The above leaked picture comes from Dutch T-Mobile’s internal network and shows that in addition to black and white versions of the so called “iPhone 2009″ which will have capacities of 16GB and 32GB, there will also be an “iPhone 3G 8GB Black V2″. What this actually means remain a mystery, with the WWDC just hours away, might this be covered at some point this afternoon?
This new iPhone design concept called the iPhone 4G definitely has the wow factor. I like the way the designer Jim Young has widened the screen of this iPhone towards nearly the very edge making the most out of that OLED screen. It’s also thin, just 9mm, thinner than the new Toshiba TG01 Nice slick corners all round and speakers at the bottom. Apple should be highly capable to making something like this, because this literally is a MacBook crammed into an iPhone if you get what I mean.
