There have been so many iPad clones that its even hard for us to keep up with them. All of them wants to overtake Apple’s iPad, but that’s not an easy task. This new clone looks so much like the iPad and it even has similar name so it can easily be confused with original, frankly this could be one of our favourite clones of them all.

We only spoke about this a few days ago, but the jailbreaking tool known as Spirit is now available for all users running Mac OS X or Windows. It is essentially a jailbreaking tool which will provide you access to Cydia and not an unlocking tool. Users will be able to use Spirit for jailbreaking the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch running OS firmware version 3.1.2, 3.1.3 or 3.2.

With the launch of Apple’s iPad 3G this week, most users will have been having one thing on their mind, is it jailbreakable / unlockable? As Geohot demonstrated shortly after iPad WiFi launched, it is indeed jailbreakable, it is just a matter of time when either Geohot or the iPhone Dev Team releases their magic to the public. In the video below, MuscleNerd from the iPhone Dev used the “Spirit” jailbreak, a software that promises untethered unlocking of Apple’s recent devices, therefore its not just the iPad concerned but also iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3G. The Dev Team has promised to release Spirit to the public soon.

As expected, China has successfully launched iPads for the global market. The original Apple iPad isn’t yet available worldwide henceforth we are pretty sure that the Chinese versions are going to attract some amount of attention (we are already giving them some publicity by writing about them here!) The best part of these huge looking iPads is that they are just the rough versions. “This is just the first rough version,” Lin said in Cantonese. “While the shape isn’t quite the same, the external appearance is very similar to the iPad, so we don’t think it will affect our sales that much.”

They love fighting with giants. They started as small search engine in their garage but as time passed they slowly started to create that one collection of geniuses that everyone would envy. Well, at least their rivals always envy those classical brains that work for this super genius company Google!

A recent research published in New York Time suggests that Google is actively preparing an alternative to (already lost) iPad which will run on its fav platform, Android! This news became public when Google’s (old and gold) CEO was found discussing the idea of launching a device similar to iPad pretty soon. And he looked excited by the fact that it will run on Android.
