This evening, Apple will present the much anticipated iPad 2, the second version of the tablet that revolutionized the world of handheld devices. According to sources, the event, which will be held in Yerba Buena Arts Center in San Francisco and could get a surprise.
Steve Jobs may possibly go on stage at the presentation of the new tablet. Earlier this year, the Apple chief took an indefinite medical leave of absence because of his health. Seven years ago, Jobs was diagnosed with a form of pancreatic cancer and underwent a liver transplant in 2009.
Just hours ahead of today’s Apple event where it has already been confirmed that the next generation iPad 2 will be launched comes a mock up of what the said device may look like.
The images which have come from the Chinese site DGtle are so realistic that they look like the real deal. One thing is for sure, the mock ups have been made using the so far rumoured new features.
Its still only a rumour at this stage folks but what’s been circulating around is that the successor to the current iPad – iPad 2 may soon be launching in about a month’s time.
There are Chinese rumours floating about that the next iPad will be lighter, thinner, to sport two cameras and a three-axis gyroscope for improved gaming performance.
The rumour says the 9.7-inch screen size will stay as it is, and that it will be the same stunning Retina quality display as the current iPhone 4. In addition, a probable front facing camera would be in fitting with requests of so many current iPad users for Facetime.
