James May and Jeremy Clarkson were recently spotted piloting a Peugeot iOn and a Nissan Leaf, possibly some sort of EV challenge for the next series of Top Gear. When Jeremy Clarkson and James May couldn’t find a power source to recharge their EVs, they eventually ran out of electricity, they made a stop at the University of Lincoln to steal some power and recharge their vehicles.

On September 16, 2010, in Laptops / Computers, by Mike Jefferson

The new Asus Eee PC 1015PN is a 10-inch notebook and it looks the same as the Eee PC 1015PED and 1015PEM but unlike those models, Eee PC 1015PN boasts 1366 x 768 pixel screen resolution. The hugely popular NVIDIA Ion-platform based Acer Aspire Revo recently got unboxed by the folks over at Engadget. Despite being a Mac user, I too wanted to see how well this rather portable nettop design by NVIDA-Acer works. Unfortunately, it was only an engineering sample which Engadget have commented that it could be “buggy”, so far they haven’t yet updated any further info on its performance. Nonetheless, its looking good and we reckon it should live up to its expectations so far.

Being a huge fan of bikes and eco-friendly products, I managed to sneak off to the bike stand area for some exploration! Pictured below is the A2B Hybrid electric bike by Ultra Motor which comes in black and white paint finish, and I must say these bikes looked fab and very precious. With so much focus on all things electric these days, you might be excited to know that the A2B’s lithium ion battery costs as little as 6 pence to recharge overnight. The A2B’s battery is not difficult to handle at all as it is detachable and can be charged by connecting a cable to any wall socket.
