Xwaves is about to release the latest version of xGPS (v1.2) by the end of this month. For those that are not familiar, xGPS is an iPhone / iPod Touch application which will turn your iPhone into a GPS sat nav device, the best part is xGPS enables your iPhone to have turn by turn voice instructions.  The previous version xGPS (v1.1.0-1) which is  already available via Cydia and provides real-time GPS navigation, but it does not have voice instructions so this soon to come update version 1.2 will definitely be much more useful.

If the UK was as sunny as it is today on everyday then I believe this DIY would be ideal for Nintendo DS gamers. User dark sponge from Instructables, figured out a way in which after some wiring, some soldering of a few miniature solar panels you won’t ever need to recharge your NDS’ battery again. Yes, the NDS’ battery is pretty long lasting and can last up to hours on its own anyway, but wouldn’t it be cool if your NDS could be played while it was absorbing the essence of solar rays for power?
