The new Philips Xenium X830 is one of those phones where you would be completely amazed at what it can offer in large print but then in the small print you’d find out that it actually boasts multiple flaws. We must admit this new upcoming Xenium X830 flagship does look fab, a nice three inch TFT touchscreen display with five megapixel camera and autofocus to start off with. Its main feature is of course a battery that will last you 1.5 months until your next charge if you just leave it on standby but what it lacks is often unrealised until we take a look at its full specs.

Asus has just announced the new T1 series TV monitors. The T1 series will be available in three different sizes: 21.5-inch, 23.6-inch and 27-inch.
Asus T1 monitors support full HD resolution, 1920 x 1080 pixels. Also featuring an impressive 20,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 300cd/m2 brightness, two 7-watt speakers and a built-in TV tuner for both digital and analog signaling.

As promised, here are a few shots comparing the two latest LG S-Class UI running mobile flagships, LG Arena and LG Viewty Smart. As we’re away checking out some cool new tech at the moment, we are abit laggy on the Viewty Smart review but we won’t be very long!

The clever Japanese researchers at the Brain Science Institute (BSI) Toyota Collaboration Center have done something quite incredible once again. Using a wheelchair controlled by brain waves measured using EEG, it’s basically a system that will control the ride using brain waves analysed every 125 milliseconds; therefore the name “mind controlled wheelchair”.
As you will see in the video to follow, testers using the wheelchair and the EEG cap system have achieved accuracy of up to 95% which is not a bad figure considering a high tech wheelchair like this may be used in place of current manual wheelchairs for patients who have had strokes or other significant mobility impairments.
The latest rumor to develop over the upcoming Zune HD reincarnation is about the 16GB version of the new Microsoft portable media player. Its been said that an engineer from Microsoft has leaked pricing info that the 16GB Zune HD will cost in the range of $250 and $280.
