Apple announces it’s updated new 2011 iMac today, featuring next generation quad-core processors, up to three times faster graphics, high-speed Thunderbolt I/O technology and a FaceTime HD camera.
We mentioned last week regarding rumours of new iMac releases today. As we have expected, Apple online stores went down early this morning for an update. New products are typically launched around 8:30am Eastern / 5:30am Pacific.
Apple store has delayed shipping time for all iMac models according to the online Apple store information. This could be a sign that Apple is preparing to release a updated version of iMac next week. There are rumors on the net about launching the new iMac during the week of May 2nd, as Apple will officially stop disturbing iMacs to resellers this week.
