Unlike Android users, if you’re an iOS device owner you’ll have noticed you don’t have the luxury of choosing fancy ‘live’ / moving wallpapers. I’ve found this especially annoying as an iPhone 4 user because the retinal display would have been brilliant for this task should Apple have enabled this feature. But the obvious downside would have been a compromise to battery life. Nevertheless vWallpaper is an app that’s been around for a while but now compatible with iOS 5.
As you will have guessed correctly, such a function would not possibly be authorised by Apple and hence the app is available for download only via Cydia meaning you will need to jailbreak your iOS 5 device.

Our very highest regards go to Wes Pitter who is the creator and designer of this amazing Lego masterpiece. The Lego made yellow Camaro you see below took Wes two years of his spare time to assemble, this wasn’t because he had difficulty putting together the car but as you will probably appreciate, its not easy to put together bricks that can transform and take shape of a completely different from, without having to dissemble it.
If you want to turn your iPad into a phone and make regular calls, you now have the chance to do so with the PhoneIt-iPad app. As you might remember, we wrote earlier about PhoneIt-iPad app while it was still in development stage, but now let’s see what the final release has to offer.
Its been leaked by an anonymous Apple Store manager that the new iPad 2s being used as displays for other in-store Apple products can be hacked to turn into “normal iPads” with a few gestures in a secret combination. Don’t take our word for it, here’s a video to proof it…
With the launch of the new iPad 2, Apple has also presented a protective cover called Smart Cover which works with the help of a set of magnets that stick onto the new iPad. Besides it’s main function to protect the surface of the new iPad, users have found that it can also be used in other ways.
