Petrolheads amongst you, if you have a Range Rover yourself, its most likely you’ll have been happily cruising your four-wheel drive vehicle on even the most difficult of roads while most of us struggle desperately through the pathetically thin layer of snow and ice during the holidays.

But since when have we men ever said power was too much? Project Kahn and Cosworth – two British tuners that have been working together for the past couple of years have recently tweaked the already highly capable and luxurious Range Rover Sport (4.4-liter V8 diesel).

A Koenigsegg supercar made of one gigantic piece of high-tech solar panel that runs purely on electrons? Yes exactly, this is no joke. The Quant is the offspring of the latest Koenigsegg-NLV (NLV Solar AG) partnership, its a four-passenger coupe with an electric motor driving each rear wheel. The combined output of this unique package is 512 horsepower, which is expected to bring the supercar from knot to 60 in about five seconds. La Vecchia explained at this year’s Geneva Motor Show that the so-called Flow Accumulator Energy Storage (FAES) invented by NLV is a combination of an electro-chemical battery and a redox cell.

We’ve been craving at some brilliant supercar pictures today. The Hulme CanAm costed its developer Jock Freemantle a mortgage to his house to build and thankfully development has of the supercar has gone well so far and it will go on sale next year if everything continues to go smoothly. The Hulme will be available in both closed-roof and open-air versions, with a Corvette Z06-sourced V8, this lightweight package is a 640 horsepower powerplant!
