It isn’t valentines day yet LG has paired up with one of the famous design agencies of France, NellyRodi, to come with a designer HDD that is bound to attract the opposite sex. The 2.5 inch XD6 Jewelry external hard disk drive will be launched in Korean market and should soon be available for the rest of the planet.

Unfortunately only to be available for those of you in Japan and some parts of Asia. ASUS’s new 19.6 mm-thick UM30 laptop, weighs 1.40 kg, boasts a nice sleek design finish with its shiny aluminum body. It is well equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo SU 9400 processor and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. A 13.3 inch TFT color LCD display with LED backlight, 320 GB HDD, 3GB DDR2 SDRAM are among its main specs. It will also support SD, SDHC, Mini SD and MMC.
We mentioned about ioSafe’s amazing fireproof and waterproof Solo external hard drives back in September, now ioSafe has increased its maximum capacity available. Memory capacities ranging from 500 GB up to 2 TB can now be purchased, with the latter being priced at $399.

Apple has given the MacBook a much needed upgrade to its specs. The processor jumps from 2.13GHz to 2.26 GHz, the HDD from 160GB to 250GB, while the 2GB of DDR2 RAM has been swapped for the same amount of slightly faster DDR3 memory. Visible changes include a new rubber bottom, glass multitouch trackpad, LED backlighting to go with its 13.3-inch display and a non-removable built-in seven hour battery which has already been seen on the MacBook Pro.
Since the UK Apple store has just re-opened, we can now report that the new pricing for the above MacBook will be £799 which isn’t bad at all considering all the new premium features you’ll be getting.
