As you might remember, there has been a rumor that General Motors OnStar system might get a Facebook integration so that you can receive status updates from your Facebook account while you’re driving. GM and Segway have teamed up before the New York Auto Show on what they’re calling the PUMA project. The prototype vehicle was exclusively unveiled today on the Today Show in the States. Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility is what I believe PUMA stands for. Outside of NBC’s Today Show this morning was a demonstration of the PUMA project developed by GM in partnership with Segway, knowing how popular the tv show is, not surprisingly lots of fans and viewers turned up to see the PUMA in action.

As you know Transformers 2 (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) the movie is well on the way and won’t be too long before it hits the screens. Chevy is heavily involved in all of the Autobot’s vehicles, so this week at the Chicago Auto Show Chevy showed everyone at the show what the new Bumblebee 2 (Camaro) would look like by building and putting up this massive 18-foot Bumblebee. Boy, these movies are really a great way for automakers to promote their cars isn’t it?
