Like we mentioned in one of our previous posts, the new Nokia N82 should have arrived by now, it was originally expected this month (December) but still no signs of it appearing in the UK market anywhere at all. To keep you waiting for further news, we have found you some close-up pics and videos focusing mainly on it’s main feature, the 5.0-megapixel camera.

More Nokia N82 pics and camera demostration video after the break…

iRing! The latest in tech fashion trend for iPod users, this highly intelligent device has two functions, control playback and volume. Ok, maybe not the most intelligent piece of gadget, but it does look neat and it has got a touch sensitive function strip (see pic after the jump)!
The iRing can be recharged using the cradle as shown and has a battery life of up to two days… The only catch is the iRing functions via bluetooth, which means you will only be able to use the ring if you have the latest bluetooth compatible iPods.
The very posh Porsche Design mobile phone, the P’9521 which was announced back in June this summer has been indicated by the CarphoneWarehouse to soon be arriving later this month (November, 2007)! This post is perfect for those who doesn’t yet know much about this phone, for a start when this phone was first announced in the states it was estimated that it will cost approx. $1600! Why would it cost such a significant sum of cash? The likely answer to that is the fact that Porsche is a highly respectable brand and so will it’s branded phone. However the price does give you some good specs, major features of the P’9521 include, quadband, 3.2 megapixels camera with autofocus, flash and 4x zoom, mp3 player, fingerprint recognition…
And that’s not all, a quick tour and a video of the phone after the break!
The Dodge Tomahawk! A bike that’s powered by the amazing Dodge Viper’s V10 engine producing 500 brake horse power and 525 lb-ft torque. Its claimed that the Tomahawk is the world’s fastest motorcycle boosting an incredible 0-60mph in 2.5-seconds, with a top speed of 300mph. To maintain the traction, Tomahawk has been equipped with two custom-made Dunlop P120/60R-20 tires up front and two P150/50R-20 on the back.

With a balance of entertaining driving dynamics and a hybrid power train that fuses lightweight chuckability with a clear environmental conscience (like the Honda Civic Hybrid?), it’s no wonder why this car will be one to keep an eye on for in the next few weeks to come!
Have a look at the pic below, T-Mobile??? Yes, that’s right, Apple’s iPhone has been unlocked! No more AT&T exclusivity!

iPhoneSimFree.com claims that they have made a tiny piece of software which fits into the iPhone, when installed it will allow your phone to become “sim free”. Here are some of the main benefits as mentioned on their web:
- Chose the provider you want, use any SIM card from any network provider in any country
- No more outrageous roaming charges. When traveling simply pick the local provider of your choice and change your sim card
- Poor network coverage no longer an issue, use the network provider best suited to your region
Until two days ago, the above information has just been what iPhoneSimFree.com‘s claims… However, from Engadget’s latest featured post, they can now prove that the team at iPhoneSimFree.com are the first to crack open Apple iPhone’s sim lock system, since its launch date. According to the post from Engadget, “Again: we can confirm with 100% certainty that iPhoneSIMfree.com’s software solution completely SIM unlocks the iPhone, is restore-resistant, and should make the iPhone fully functional for users outside of the US.”
Also, here’s some main features on the software installation:
- Only requires a short period of time, a matter of only minutes
- Once you put your new, non AT&T SIM in the device, you have to go through the usual activation process
- The menu system now has a couple more options, the root menu has carrier settings where you can select your preferred network if you don’t want to roam
- General -> Network menu now has an EDGE network settings area where you can input your carrier’s APN and username / password
- For usual features like visual voicemail that you would expect to see when using an AT&T sim card, you will of course not have them when a sim card from another carrier is now inserted
This really isn’t a hoax! To prove this, Engadget has also tested it to be restore / upgrade resistant! A test was performed by doing a full restore (v1.0.2) on their iPhone and successfully activating it using an inactive AT&T sim card.
Have a look at Engadget’s “iPhone Unlocked” gallery, there’s also a video to show that all this is a hoax!
